Alpha NEXT GEN ACADEMY

Commitment Level: 1 Training Per Week

Athlete development is always at the forefront of what we do, but balancing this with the competitive nature of the sport can be challenging. In past seasons, we’ve used development teams and stunt groups to support athlete growth while still creating routines that match the standard of the wider cheer community.

We are excited to introduce Alpha Next Gen as a permanent addition to our program. This group will be our high performance athletes from various levels who share a common goal to advance their skills and are willing to do the work.

What this looks like:

You can expect higher standards and benchmarks around athlete fitness, strength, and conditioning; a strong focus on high-quality fundamental stunting paired with impactful performance moments; tumbling skills gained throughout the year being performed on the floor; higher-level stunt progressions; and a routine showcased at the final competition of the season.

This team is not defined by a specific level or skill set, but by each athlete’s goals and their commitment to putting in the work. Development requires more than simply showing up, it requires consistent effort and engagement in the program.

Next Gen is exclusively available to current Alpha Club athletes, with a minimum of 2 years cheerleading experience and must be taken alongside a competitive team.
