GBHS Information Pack:
What is Scholastic Cheer?
School Cheer is a discipline of cheer that involves athletes who represent their school at competition and events. School teams learn a range of jumps & stunts alongside motions and tumble. Team generally train at their school to ensure the connection with the school.
Green Bay High School will be training Terms 2-3 and the first few weeks of Term 4.
What are the cost involved?
GBHS School Cheer is normally $110 per term, per athlete, however we have been donated $700 to help alleviate the costs of Cheer for families.
This includes hireage of uniform, music fee, and the general training fee.
This reduces the cost to $70 per term, per athlete.
Competition fees are roughly $50 per competition.
Do I need to purchase a uniform
At Alpha Cheer NZ we hire out our uniforms year to year and athletes are unable to purchase them. This is one of our ways we help reduce the cost of cheerleading for families.
At times we may need to put on Fundraisers to provide additional uniforms for the team.
