Welcome to Alpha Cheer NZ’s Term 3 “Gold Dust” Beginner Cheer Class.

A community-focused program specifically designed for children aged 6 to 12 who are new to cheerleading.

Held at the Mount Albert Senior Citizens Hall, this weekly class takes place every Monday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, running for FREE from July 28 to September 21, 2025.

Each 60-minute session introduces the fundamentals of cheer, including fun jumps, basic stunting, and dance, all within a safe and supportive environment.

No prior experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Best of all, this class is completely FREE for the entire term, giving families a risk-free opportunity to discover if cheerleading is the right fit for their child.

Term 4 In Mount Albert

We’re thrilled to let you know that cheer will be continuing in Term 4, and we’re excited to officially name the team: Gold Dust!

There will be a few small changes next term to help us continue providing the best experience for your cheerleaders:

• Class Fee: $50 per child
  This will cover venue hire, a club t-shirt, and a matching bow for each athlete.

• Competition Opportunity: $60 per athlete
  We are planning to enter the team into the CheerSport Grade 1 division at a local competition on Saturday, November 2nd. This will be a fantastic and supportive opportunity for the athletes to show off everything they’ve learned.

• Term Dates: 6th October - 1st December
  In term 4 we also host extra events which the team will be welcome to come along too. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
